Aalto's Consultants Independent Peer Review Services: Ensuring Accuracy & Integrity

Independent reviews are an important part of the project verification process, and should be undertaken as often as possible.

Aalto has experience in the role of independent peer reviewer for several aspects of advisory work, including economic analysis, financial analysis, investment logic mapping and business case preparation.

Peer reviews will typically assess and report on the correctness and accuracy of the evaluation techniques used, as well as the reasonableness of how assumptions have been made and applied in the analysis.

What we do

Unveiling Project Insights: Aalto's Strategic Peer Review Analysis

Robust peer reviews demand a close familiarity with both the evaluation techniques being used (such as cost benefit analysis or whole of life cost analysis) and the context in which it is being applied (e.g. for a government agency which is bound by certain approaches to analysis).

Peer reviews will typically assess and report on the correctness and accuracy of the evaluation techniques used, as well as the reasonableness of how assumptions have been made and applied in the analysis.

High quality peer reviews don’t only advise on shortcomings but also highlight potential corrections or amendments which may be applicable, and note where strong and correct analysis or interpretation has been prepared.

In order to streamline peer review reporting, a ‘traffic light’ style approach to elements under review is often very suitable for a rapid presentation of outcomes to a readership which is primed to finalise a given assignment or report.
